Elon Musk abruptly shut down Twitter’s offices as workers resigned en masse
Very few have signed up for Musk’s Twitter 2.0.
Twitter offices were abruptly shut down on Thursday after hundreds of employees signed off from the company after refusing to comply with Elon Musk’s ultimatum.
Reports suggest that Musk had to meet a team of engineers to know why so many were leaving. Now offices have to shut to prevent sabotage.
Elon Musk ends Trump’s Twitter ban
Former President Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been reinstated following a permanent ban in January 2021.
On Friday, new Twitter owner Elon Musk posted a poll asking if Trump should be allowed back on the platform. Just over 15 million people voted, with 51.8% voting in favor of reinstating Trump on Twitter.
As of July 2022, when Twitter filed its last quarterly earnings report before going private, the platform has about 237.8 million monetizable daily active users. Yet when Musk’s impromptu poll ended on Saturday with a small fraction of the user base taking part, Trump’s account was unbanned.

We then move on to Hyperloop Systems, which is a cutting-edge new technology that makes use of a vacuum-sealed tube to send passengers or freight at high speeds. This concept was also introduced by Elon Musk, but through the company ironically named as The Boring Company. Further, we explore Fully Autonomous Vehicles, and in more in depth — into the various level of autonomation available today and what will be there in the future.
The video also covers Flying Taxis and Hypersonic Air Travel. The flying taxis, like the ones being constructed by Volocopter, is a new transportation method that could take the world by storm in the future. The same goes for hypersonic air travel that will let passenger again take to the sky in hypersonic aircraft similar to the Concord in the past, only much safer and considerably faster.
Another transportation technology covered is Magnetic Levitation Trains, which is a type of high-speed ground transportation technology that uses magnetic fields that lets the train levitate and move without making contact with the ground.

Among the ones who were retained, hundreds of employees quit this Thursday following a Musk email asking them to sign up to work long hours at high intensity and put in exceptional performances. Elon Musk, who had set a 5 pm deadline through a Google form, did not anticipate that hundreds would not take up such a role.

With this announcement, Bezos joins the list of other billionaires in the world, such as Bill Gates, who have decided to give away their wealth during their lifetimes. After expressing his desire to remove himself from the list of billionaires, Gates donated $6 billion to his Foundation, which runs programs across the world.
Other billionaires like Elon Musk have also donated to their own foundations or trusts, but Bezos has been criticized in the past for not signing up for not committing to any such move, even when he was the richest person in the world.
