Shortly after resigning as CEO of Twitter, Musk is expected to assume the position of CEO once again, this time at a fresh AI startup.

The world’s richest person has announced a new startup called xAI. Elon Musk has assembled a team of highly experienced professionals in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) to establish this enterprise. However, Musk’s Twitter statement merely offers limited information about the venture’s objectives, leaving its purpose ambiguous for the time being.

Tesla may adopt Apple AirPlay for better audio — and Apple Music

While Tesla famously won’t support CarPlay, code found in its iOS app update points to at least testing of AirPlay in its cars.

It’s never been possible to use Apple’s CarPlay in Teslas — not without a hack, and a convoluted one at that — but CEO Elon Musk has previously hinted at AirPlay support.

Now according to the unofficial “Tesla App Updates (iOS)” account on Twitter, the latest version of Tesla’s iPhone app includes a mention of AirPlay in its code.

Tesla looking to make about half million EVs annually in India, Times of India reports

BENGALURU, July 13 (Reuters) — Tesla (TSLA.O) is discussing an investment proposal with the Indian government to set up a factory with an annual capacity to produce about half a million electric vehicles, the Times of India reported on Thursday, citing government sources.

The company, led by billionaire Elon Musk, is also looking at using India as an export base to ship cars to countries in the Indo-Pacific region, the report said.

The starting price for the vehicles will be 2 million rupees ($24,400.66), the report added, which is more than double of India’s cheapest EV, MG Comet, and half a million costlier than Tata Nexon EV, the top-selling electric car in the country.

Facebook’s dominance and influence have often been associated with issues such as privacy breaches, the spread of misinformation, and the erosion of real social connections. Mark Zuckerberg, the co-founder of Facebook (now Meta), recently celebrated reaching 100 million users in just five days with his new Twitter-like platform called Threads. However, this achievement doesn’t impress me much. Instead, it highlights Zuckerberg’s tendency to imitate rather than innovate.

While I used to admire him, I now realize that he doesn’t belong in the same league as my true idols. Comparing the 100 million sign-ups for ChatGPT to the 100 million Threads users is simply absurd.

Elon Musk believes Tesla will have ‘level 4 or 5’ self-driving this year

Elon Musk has again decided to share a timeline about Tesla’s self-driving effort – again claiming it will achieve “full self-driving” by the end of the year.

But this time, the CEO has mentioned “level 4 or 5” self-driving. However, it’s not clear if he knows what that means.

Over the years, Musk has claimed that Tesla was on the verge of achieving “full self-driving capability” so often that it is hard to believe him now.

Twitter vs. Meta battle heats up as Musk prepares to sue

Elon Musk will not sit aside while Meta’s new killer app Threads amasses tens of millions of users. A potential legal battle looms.

Twitter is considering sueing Meta over “systematic, willful, and unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property,” a leaked letter by Musk’s lawyer Alex Spiro reveals.
