A new Goldman Sachs report is revealing that humanoid robots could be a $154 billion-a-year business within the next 15 years, according to a report.
This is as much as the EV market, an impressive achievement to reach in so little time if you consider how long robots have been around. In the past, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that the robot industry may eventually be worth more than Tesla’s automobile income.
The investment giant was also inspired by Tesla’s new unveiling of its own robot to conduct the report.
The report, inspired by Tesla’s introduction of its Optimus robot, reveals a bright future for robotics. The machines could be used to replace humans in monotonous or hazardous tasks.

It’s a massive step up in an industry that has increasingly reported progress, which suggests that interfacing our minds with consumer devices could happen a lot sooner than some of us bargained for.
Brain-computer devices eavesdrop on brainwaves and convert these into commands. More or less the same neural signals that healthy people use to instruct their muscle fibers to twitch and enact a movement like walking or grasping an object can be used to command a robotic arm or move a cursor on a computer screen. This type of technology is not exactly new. Scientists have been experimenting with brain-computer interfaces for decades, but it’s been in the last couple of years or so that we’ve actually come to see tremendous progress. Even Elon Musk has jumped on this bandwagon, founding a company called Neuralink with the ultimate goal of developing technology that allows people to transmit and receive information between their brain and a computer wirelessly — essentially connecting the human mind to devices. The idea is for anyone to be able to use this technology, even normal, healthy people, who want to augment their abilities by interfacing with machines. In 2021, Neuralink released a video of a monkey with an implanted Neuralink device playing pong, and the company wants to start clinical trials with humans soon.

The president of Turkey said on Wednesday that he might speak to Elon Musk to negotiate a way to opt out of paying for a proposed $8-a-month Twitter verification fee.
Reuters reported the news, citing an interview with Turkish broadcaster ATV.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan told ATV he was considering talking to Musk about the monthly $8 subscription, which would give users a blue checkmark, the ability to post long-form video, priority in search, and fewer ads, per Reuters.

When Elon Musk first showcased the Cybertruck, it immediately caught the eye of many motorheads. With a $100 fee to book the truck, many jumped in the fray to get one. Years have now rolled by, and Tesla has been pushing back production dates.
First scheduled for production in 2021, the rollout timeline was shifted by a year, first to 2022, then another to 2023. While it was earlier expected that the futuristic pickup would go into production early in the year, it now appears that it has been pushed further into the fag end of the year.
The new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, has authorized 50 employees from his other companies, such as Tesla, SpaceX, and the Boring Company, to help him handle matters at the social media company, according to a report by CNBC
In addition to the employees, Musk has friends and advisors who are looking into the affairs at Twitter, such as the head of his family office Jared Birchall, venture capitalist and founding member of the PayPal team David Sacks, and angel investor Jason Calacanis.
After completing his Twitter acquisition, Musk fired the Board of Directors and the top brass at the social media site. This leaves him as the sole director of the company, taking up the position of the CEO at Twitter, although his Twitter bio describes him as Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator as of now.
Twitter acquired the video-sharing service in 2012 but shut it down four years later.

According to the social media company Twitter, the firm plans to launch a new feature called “NFT Tweet Tiles,” a segregated panel within a tweet that showcases non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the marketplaces that list the specific NFT shared. The new NFT concept is expected to drop soon, in order to “impact the Tweet experience,” Twitter developers explained on Oct. 27.
Twitter Developers Reveal ‘NFT Tweet Tiles’
After Elon Musk officially took over Twitter, the social media’s development team tweeted that the firm aims to drop a feature called NFT Tweet Tiles soon. “Now testing: NFT Tweet Tiles,” the account @twitterdevtweeted. “Some links to NFTs on [Rarible], [Magic Eden], [Dapper Labs], and [Jump.trade] will now show you a larger picture of the NFT alongside details like the title and creator. One more step in our journey to let developers impact the Tweet experience.”
