During AI Day, the Tesla CEO was the first person to confirm the existence of the ‘Dojo’ program: “We do have a major program at Tesla which we don’t have enough time to talk about today called ” Dojo”. That’s a super powerful training computer. The goal of Dojo will be to be able to take in vast amounts of data and train at a video level and do massive unsupervised training of vast amounts of video with the Dojo program – or Dojo computer.”
In June 2020, Elon Musk tweeted, “Dojo, our training supercomputer, will be able to process vast amounts of video training data & efficiently run hyperspace arrays with an enormous number of parameters, plenty of memory & ultra-high bandwidth between cores.

The first in the world to do so.

Researchers at the North University of China have successfully completed the test of a Hyperloop-like train system that runs trains in a low vacuum environment inside a tube, local news outlet, China Daily.

In theory, the system can be used for transporting people as well as goods and consists of long tubes that maintain a low vacuum to allow transport with minimal air resistance.

That’s what Musk announced during Tesla’s Q3 2022 earnings call.

The third vehicle platform for Tesla, following the big one supporting the Model S and X and the small one supporting the Model 3 and Y, has received new information from company CEO Elon Musk.

Customers, investors, and Tesla supporters have been anticipating the company’s introduction of a new vehicle that will be less expensive than the current models for some time.

Elon Musk made a bold prediction during Tesla’s Q3 2022 earnings call stating that Tesla would grow to become an enormous company by the end of this decade.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk dazzled and entertained listeners during the call, which was full of jokes and ambitious goals. That’s when he made the bold statement that Tesla could surpass both Apple and Saudi Aramco’s market cap in the future.

Back in 2017, Elon Musk said Tesla would exceed Apple’s market cap of $700 billion in just a few years. Tesla did just that back in 2020 during its glorious bull run and hit the $1 trillion mark during the height of the 2021 stock market bull run.

Many observers were disappointed with the recent demo of the AI-enabled “Optimus” robot at Tesla’s AI Day. One reviewer cleverly titled his article “Sub-Optimus.” However, these views actually miss the point. Whatever else may be said of Elon Musk, he is a genius at sensing timing and opportunity, applying technology and providing the necessary resources.

The quality and enthusiasm of the engineering team suggest Optimus could succeed, even if it takes longer than the estimate of 3 to 5 years for full production. If successful, Optimus could bring personal robots into the mainstream within a decade.
