Elon Musk’s final lap is one year long.

Fans of Tesla’s much-awaited Cybertruck may have to wait for yet another year to see their dream pickup at their doorstep. According to a Reuters.

When Elon Musk first showcased the Cybertruck, it immediately caught the eye of many motorheads. With a $100 fee to book the truck, many jumped in the fray to get one. Years have now rolled by, and Tesla has been pushing back production dates.

First scheduled for production in 2021, the rollout timeline was shifted by a year, first to 2022, then another to 2023. While it was earlier expected that the futuristic pickup would go into production early in the year, it now appears that it has been pushed further into the fag end of the year.

But do they really have the necessary skillset?

The new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, has authorized 50 employees from his other companies, such as Tesla, SpaceX, and the Boring Company, to help him handle matters at the social media company, according to a report by CNBC

In addition to the employees, Musk has friends and advisors who are looking into the affairs at Twitter, such as the head of his family office Jared Birchall, venture capitalist and founding member of the PayPal team David Sacks, and angel investor Jason Calacanis.

After completing his Twitter acquisition, Musk fired the Board of Directors and the top brass at the social media site. This leaves him as the sole director of the company, taking up the position of the CEO at Twitter, although his Twitter bio describes him as Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator as of now.

Twitter acquired the video-sharing service in 2012 but shut it down four years later.

Elon Musk has told engineers at Twitter to work on a reboot of the short-video sharing service Vine, six years after it was shut down by the then CEO, Jack Dorsey, Business Insider.

After months of delay in acquiring the social media platform he believes has the potential to be the world’s town square, Elon Musk has wasted no time to ring in changes. After firing Twitter’s top brass, Musk is the only director of the company he now wholly owns and, as CEO is putting Twitter employees to the task.

Watch The Kardashev Scale Type 1: What Would Be Our CIvilization?
https://youtu.be/zHFN8VrLBdc.

A type 1 civilization on the Kardashev scale manages to take advantage of 100% of the energy produced by its planet, control the climate, move continents and even change its planet’s rotation. In this sense, how long does the human race lack to become a type 1 civilization? Are we close to achieving it, or are we still far away?
Ready, let’s start! “Introduction“
The level of technological development of any civilization can be measured mainly by the amount of energy they need. But, it also encompasses the management of that energy and how they use it to develop and grow on their home planet.
Following Kardashev’s definition, a Type I civilization is capable of storing and using all the energy available on its planet; this includes all known electricity generation methods, as well as those that depend on the elements available on the planet, nuclear fusion and fission, geothermal energy, as well as that which they can collect from their star without leaving the planet.
The human race has not yet reached this level of development, but will we ever reach it? And if so, when will we achieve it?
Previously we already made a series of 3 videos in which we address the three types of civilizations that exist according to the Kardashev scale. “Enter here images of the series on the scale of Kardashev.“
But today, we will focus on analyzing why the human race has not yet managed to become a type 1 civilization and how far we need to become one.
The Great Filter.

Is Twitter getting into the NFT business?

According to the social media company Twitter, the firm plans to launch a new feature called “NFT Tweet Tiles,” a segregated panel within a tweet that showcases non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the marketplaces that list the specific NFT shared. The new NFT concept is expected to drop soon, in order to “impact the Tweet experience,” Twitter developers explained on Oct. 27.

Twitter Developers Reveal ‘NFT Tweet Tiles’

After Elon Musk officially took over Twitter, the social media’s development team tweeted that the firm aims to drop a feature called NFT Tweet Tiles soon. “Now testing: NFT Tweet Tiles,” the account @twitterdev tweeted. “Some links to NFTs on [Rarible], [Magic Eden], [Dapper Labs], and [Jump.trade] will now show you a larger picture of the NFT alongside details like the title and creator. One more step in our journey to let developers impact the Tweet experience.”

Just days after taking over Twitter, Elon Musk has issued an ultimatum to engineers over a new project.

According to a report from The Verge, Musk wants to launch a pay-for-play verification system in which verified users are charged $20 per month.

The kicker is that engineers have until November 7 to launch the scheme or face being fired. Employees were only told of the project on October 30.

The changes at Twitter have already begun. Those not falling in line might be fired.

Twitter, under its new CEO, Elon Musk, may begin charging $20 a month as subscription fees from its users who have verified accounts.

Previously, a decision like this would lead to weeks of discussions at Twitter but with a new CEO in charge, it was done almost overnight. The move to increase subscription fees is also expected to be implemented soon enough but allegedly carries a rider of losing the job if not done.
