O,.o.

A Canadian aerospace company has chosen an eyebrow-raising name for a hypersonic space plane it plans to launch in 2022: “Sexbomb.”

Space Engine Systems (SES) announced that it wants to launch the, uh, Sexbomb in Manitoba, according to a press release from the company. The vehicle will be used to test the company’s spacecraft engine prototype.

Tesla’s Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Beta are, at their core, safety systems. They may be advanced enough to make driving tasks extremely easy and convenient, but ultimately, CEO Elon Musk has been consistent with the idea that Tesla’s advanced driver-assist technologies are being developed to make the world’s roads as safe as possible.

This is something that seems to be happening now among some members of the FSD Beta group, which is currently being expanded even to drivers with a Safety Score of 99. As the company expands its fleet of vehicles that are equipped with FSD beta, some testers have started sharing stories about how the advanced driver-assist system helped them avoid potential accidents on the road.

FSD Beta tester @FrenchieEAP, for example, recently shared a story about a moment when his Model 3 was sitting at a red light with the Full Self-Driving Beta engaged. When the light turned green, the all-electric sedan started moving forward — before braking suddenly. The driver initially thought that the FSD Beta was stopping for no reason, but a second later, the Model 3 owner realized that a cyclist had actually jumped a red light. The FSD Beta just saw the cyclist before he did.

Starship will be ready for its orbital launch next month, pending regulatory approval — Elon Musk.

SpaceX’s Starship rocket is still being built in southeast Texas, with significant work being made on crucial parts like the launch tower construction and the installation of the vacuum-rated Raptor engines that will power the spacecraft once it reaches space.

Elon Musk claims that it might be ready for its maiden orbital flight attempt next month if it receives the necessary regulatory approvals.

To make the effort, SpaceX will need clearance from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), as it has for all of its previous test flights of Starship from its development facility outside of Brownsville, Texas.

Elon Musk has built two industrial behemoths— Tesla and SpaceX—revolutionizing two industries along the way. But that’s not all he has done to change global industry.

Musk has also given manufacturing companies a new word: gigafactory.

The practical definition of a gigafactory is a larger, modern manufacturing facility for products that are designed to lower global carbon emissions.

Investing bank Morgan Stanley believes that Elon Musk will become the world’s first modern trillionaire. Due to a wild bull market in Tesla shares over the last two years, the eccentric billionaire’s net worth has skyrocketed to unprecedented heights. Since the beginning of the year 2,020 the price of Tesla stock has risen by more than tenfold.

According to a Morgan Stanley report, the CEO of Tesla will become a trillionaire as a result of the success of his second business, SpaceX.

The private space-exploration company set up by Musk “is challenging any preconceived notion of what was possible and the time frame possible, in terms of rockets, launch vehicles and supporting infrastructure,” wrote Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas in a note titled, ‘SpaceX Escape Velocity … Who Can Catch Them?’

It’s actually about a company called Varda Space Industries.

After signing a deal with Varda Space Industries, Elon Musk’s next plan could be to revolutionize manufacturing in space. Stay tuned for the latest SpaceX news and subscribe to Futurity.
