Teltonika just released Oxa — a case-free, 36-gram embedded industrial IoT gateway designed for OEMs to build inside their equipment instead of mounting a separate box next to it.

It includes LTE Cat 4, Gigabit Ethernet, industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, etc.), and the full RutOS stack in a tiny form factor.

This changes the procurement equation: connectivity stops being a separate device and becomes part of the machine itself. Installation costs drop, failure points decrease, and OEMs keep control of the user experience and data pipeline.

The question for buyers is now simple: is the connectivity embedded or bolted on?
