Intratumoral T cell activation kills tumors regardless of T cell specificity

Here the authors show that T cell activation within tumors triggers tumor clearance that is independent of tumor antigen recognition and occurs via a paracrine mechanism involving effector cytokines, nitric oxide, leukocyte recruitment and innate immune cells.
