Neither Science nor Philosophy did deliver up to now a DEFINITION for TIME. Without a definiton all statements about ´time´ are of poor/doubtful quality.
Clocks are made do display only CALENDAR-DATA (e.g.year, day, hour, second) — but they do not display ´time´.
When we want to know what will happen when ´time´ PASS-BY in a clock then we have to explain what will happen, when a second will pass-by: When we wind up the spring of a clock or when we insert a battery — then we add potential energy. A clock is a machine and we will have a flow of energy when the potential energy will be transformed into kinetic energy which will move the clock-work mechanism and the indicators .
Therefore we can say: time will pass-by in a clock when we have a flow of energy!
And therefore we can create the definition: TIME IS ENERGY

Science did not deliver a definition for ´time´ up to now!
Up to now some ´scientific´ papers were published, which discussed whether it is possible to stop or even to reverse ´time´ on quantum-level.
These ideas are of poor quality because every quantum-object is here on our earth-planet, which rotates and moves around the sun. our sun-system is part of a rotating galaxy which move through an expanding universe.
This does mean that all these very dynamic movements have to be stopped or even reversed — when it would be possible to stop/reverse ´time´ on quantum-level
