Neural changes in pregnancy are not well understood. Here Pritschet et al. present an open-access precision brain imaging resource, mapping neuroanatomical change in an individual from preconception through postpartum.

  1. As I reflect on my own pregnancy, I vividly recall the significant cognitive shifts I experienced, which research now suggests may be attributed to the substantial neuroanatomical changes that occur in the brain during this period, fundamentally reshaping a mother’s brain architecture.
