   Don’t we conspire to kill
   malignant cells in our bodies?
   Don’t we conspire to throw out
   blood cells in polycythemia?
   Don’t we conspire to excise
   or freeze our ugly polyps?
   Don’t we conspire to insert
   normal genes into rogue cells?

   So do super-organisms *
   conspire to kill freedom fighters.
   So do they conspire to exile
   overpopulating migrants.
