The newest update to Musk’s “Boring Company,” which wants to transport your car in tunnels under LA traffic.
Hackers equipped with black market software are targeting cash machines with dated software and substandard security and walking away with millions over the course of a series of attacks, according to a collaborative investigation by Motherboard and German newsroom Bayerischer Rundfunk. Though law enforcement agencies are tightlipped about the trend, it’s a sign that banks may be surprisingly vulnerable to cybercrime.
Other sources, granted anonymity by Motherboard, described the same trend: “There are attacks happening, but a lot of the time it’s not publicized,” said one.
Plug-And-Play
The German attacks and others throughout Europe seem to be carried out with Russian software called Cutlet Maker, which Motherboard reports can be bought for $1,000. In the U.S., a program called Ploutus. D is more popular.
Both programs can be installed into ATMs through a USB or other physical access point — though the hackers usually need to break into the ATM’s hardware to access it.

While breast cancer largely affects women, it can also occur in men. Fortunately, thanks to awareness, early detection, and research, survival rates have increased. But, there’s still a lot to learn, so Seeker sat down with Professor Donald McDonnell from the Duke School of Medicine to find out more.
So what exactly is breast cancer?
Breast cancer affects the cells in the tissue of the breast. It starts when these cells develop abnormally and begin to divide and accumulate rapidly, eventually forming a lump or mass.
Under the breast cancer umbrella, there are three major types: estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, HER2-positive breast cancer, and triple-negative breast cancers. They’re all different, they progress differently, and the treatments for them vary.
While knowing the breakdown of the most common types of breast cancer is a start, there are also factors that can put someone at a greater risk of contracting this disease.

After years in the wilderness, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will bring Halo Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3: ODST (minus the Firefight mode), Halo 3 and Halo 4 to PC.
The only previous games in the FPS series to launch on PC were Halo and Halo 2, both well over a decade ago (if you don’t count the Halo Wars spin-offs). This is obviously a big moment, and it seems like Microsoft is making some good decisions in bringing them to PC: Namely launching them on Steam, rather than trapping them on the Microsoft Store (though you can buy it there too). There’s much more to go into below, too.
The PC version is being worked on by Halo stewards 343 Industries, Ruffian Games and Splash Damage. In total, the Master Chief Collection will entail over 120 multiplayer maps and 67 campaign missions—which should be enough to keep you occupied for a while. The idea is to “evolve and grow” the collection over time with community input, so it’s likely we’ll see more features added to each game after launch.
