Standard Solar Gets $105 Million For U.S. Solar Projects

Standard Solar announced recently that it closed a tax equity commitment for up to $105 million to fund distributed generation (DG) solar projects. These projects will be in the following five U.S. states:

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak: Motivation is more important than knowledge for achieving success

The most important ingredient to becoming successful is having motivation, says Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
“Having a purpose, motivation — motivation is worth more than knowledge,” says Wozniak says, speaking at eMERGE technology conference in Miami, Fla., Monday. Wozniak co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs in 1976.
“You can teach all the right things and that doesn’t matter. If somebody is motivated and wants to do something, wanting — it’s emotional. That’s the person that is probably going to go out and find a way to actually get it done.”

Tales of the ocean swallowing places are as ancient as the myth of Atlantis, but there is an element of truth in the science, according to a NOAA-backed expedition set for Florida’s Gulf Coast.
The ocean does open up and consume areas of sea floor.
However, these are basically sink holes, similar to those that gobble suburban homes in Florida, NOAA says.

The aim is to raise awareness and preserve the history and traditions of Ancient Egyptian civilization.
