France’s new humanoid enters the nuclear zone to take the heat

The robot will undergo a four-month testing phase at the Orano Melox facility in France to assess its mobility and precision.


France has deplopyed Hoxo, an AI-powered humanoid robot, to enhance safety and efficiency in nuclear plant operations.

  1. Orano Melox was originally designed for human operation, so a robot with arms and hands would easily be able to manipulate the existing valves, handles, and control panels without requiring a complete overhaul of the infrastructure.
