When we wind up the spring of a clock or when we insert a battery — then we add energy to it.
The clock-work will only run — when we have a flow of energy: e.g. a second will only pass by when we have a flow of energy in the clock-work.
All clocks are machines and are working according with the laws of thermodynamics. Therefore we can say: When we discuss this flow of energy as a ´flow´ of time — then we can create the definition ´TIME IS ENERGY´.
Time will only pass by when we have a flow of energy. With the laws of thermodynamics — this flow of energy can have only one direction: From a higher concentration/intensity towards a state of lower concentration/intensity. This does mean that the ´time-arrow´ can have only on direction.
The idea — that time might be stopped/reversed in a quantum-state — is nonsense. Because this idea is a contradiction against the laws of thermodynamics. Additional is every quantum-object on earth — moved by the rotating earth, it is transported by the earth around the sun. Our sun-system is part of a rotationg galaxy in an expanding universe.
All these dynamic movements belong to every quantum-object — and they have to be stopped/reversed when time can be stopped/reversed. This is not possible.
