Yuriy Oreshin

Yuriy Oreshin is Managing Partner and Founder of Angelico Ventures. He is the CEO at Aiternis, Cofounder of Alvansa (Alium), Investor in CureLab Oncology, and General Director at SL Oncology, a Russian subsidiary of CureLab Oncology.

Founded in 2008, Angelico Ventures helps investors make returns on investments in public and private US and EU based companies focused on treating cancer, cardiovascular, and other diseases. It is targeting the market for drugs and technologies impacting longevity, particularly in heart disease, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases.

As CEO of Aiternis since 2017, Yuriy recruited a team of world leaders in anti-aging science and medicine, as well as healthcare, IT, and business management.

Aiternis is a global clinical blockchain platform and marketplace designed to accelerate medical research and improve patient care. They are a family with a goal to extend human life — and healthspan.

Yuriy has been the General Director at SL Oncology, based in “Russian Silicon Valley” Skolkovo since 2012. It is a Russian subsidiary of CureLab Oncology, USA, one of the leading companies in the world in the oncology field. They have a global team of scientists including Nobel Laureate Aaron Ciechanover and leading business development professionals from multiple biotech companies and Big Pharma.

Yuriy worked as the Director of Licensing and Business Development at Human Stem Cells Institute (HSCI) for almost four years, between 2012 and 2015. He worked with Artur Isaev, founder of the leading Russian stem cell company Human Stem Cell Institute (first biotech IPO in Russia), on creation of new businesses, Mergers & Acquisitions, and financing new businesses. They looked at revolutionary gene therapy and cell therapy technologies, which could be rapidly commercialized and licensed for Russia.

Prior to Angelico Ventures in 2008, Yuriy worked as an Advisor for Edalau, a company exclusively focused on cross-border transactions mainly between London, Paris, Moscow, and Kiev.

In 2007, he was the Director of Investment Banking at Art-Capital, operating in the stock market since 2000 and is one of the most successful Ukrainian investment groups in this segment.

Yuriy earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in International Business and Marketing from the University of South Carolina, The Moore School of Business in 2005.
