Dr. Vlad Senatorov

Vlad Senatorov, Ph.D. is the co-founder of Reservoir Neuroscience, a venture-backed biopharma company developing novel therapeutics to repair dysfunctional brain blood vessels and restore vascular health in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders. Reservoir’s mission is to address a fundamental driver of brain aging, with support from the world’s leading biotech and longevity investors.

Vlad has conducted neuroscience research for over 20 years with world leaders in fields such as memory and learning, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and epilepsy—beginning with a competitive research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) while still an undergraduate. 

He earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and recognized among the top graduate researchers globally. He also received the SMART Fellowship and was UC Berkeley’s single nominee for the Regeneron Creative Science Prize.

During his doctoral work, Vlad led a translational project published as a cover article in Science Translational Medicine, catalyzing his focus on entrepreneurship. In recognition of his translational efforts, he was named a Bakar Innovation Fellow and awarded a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology from Berkeley’s Sutardja Center

Before leaving academia to start Reservoir Neuroscience, he was appointed a Siebel Fellow spanning the Berkeley Stem Cell Center and the Department of Integrative Biology. Vlad has authored numerous high-impact, peer-reviewed publications spanning multiple areas of neuroscience and is widely recognized as a leading expert in aging biology and neurovascular dysfunction. He is leading Reservoir from conception to the clinic. Most importantly, he is the proud father of two amazing children.
