Dr. Victor Dos Santos Paulino
Victor Dos Santos Paulino, Ph.D. is Associate Professor in Innovation Management and Strategy at Toulouse Business School, Co-Chairman of SIRIUS Chair, and author of the book Innovation Trends in the Space Industry.
His current research interests focus on disruptions, technology strategies, and sustainability. He has developed a recognized expertise in high-tech capital goods sectors such as aerospace.

Victor earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Université Côte d’Azur in 2007. His thesis was titled Le changement technique et organisationnel en situation d’incertitude : Une analyse des strategies d’inertie dans l’industrie spatiale.
In 2008, he joined Toulouse Business School and has been an Associate Professor since. In 2017, he became Modul Manager on the Innovation Management study path for 3rd year Bachelor Students.
In 2018, Victor became the Modul Manager for Space Business and Applications specialized track for the Global Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The SIRIUS Chair is the first international research chair dedicated to the law and management of activities in the space sector. Since 2013, Victor has dealt with the entire range of regulatory, institutional, economic, and management issues raised by the generalization of satellites’ social uses, the opening up of space activities to competition, and the development of commercial applications of space technologies.
Previously, Victor was a Trainee at the Thales Alenia Space, a company working on delivering Space Technologies for Telecommunications, Earth Observation, Navigation, Science, Exploration, and Orbital Infrastructures.
In 2018, Victor earned his Qualification to Supervise Research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches), Business Administration, and Management from the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale.
Victor has authored several articles published in scientific journals, including R&D Management, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, and Journal of Innovation Economics & Management.
