Pam Mallari-Valenzuela, MBA, ICF-ACTP, APF

Pam Mallari-Valenzuela, MBA, ICF-ACTP, APF, is a Professional Futurist and Senior Management Consultant at Management Strategies, an internationally recognized International Coaching Federation-certified Executive Coach, and a full Member of the Association of Professional Futurists (APF), bringing over 25 years of experience in strategic marketing leadership, applied foresight, and organizational transformation across the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Metro Manila, Philippines, she is a seasoned brand builder, resilience futurist, and Strengths Coach who has revived declining businesses and driven sustainable growth for some of the world’s most recognized global companies, including Diageo, Philips Lighting, Monsanto, GlaxoSmithKline, and Eastman Kodak.

Pam currently serves as Professional Futurist and Senior Management Consultant at Management Strategies, one of the Philippines’ premier consulting firms, where she has held strategic roles since 2022. In this capacity she designs, facilitates, and delivers high-impact engagements for multinational companies and large local conglomerates across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on Applied Strategic Foresight, Culture Transformation, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Leadership Development, and Organizational Wellbeing.

As a full Member of the Association of Professional Futurists, Pam has earned the APF designation through a rigorous peer-review portfolio assessment — a credential conferred only to those who can document performance across professional foresight standards, including consulting, speaking, teaching, and writing. Her foresight work centers on helping organizations navigate uncertainty, anticipate signals of change, and build strategies for resilient, preferable futures. She holds the Certified Culture Invigoration (C) Consultant credential, issued in August 2025. Between February 2024 and May 2025, Pam served concurrently as Vice President and Marketing Director at Concepcion-Carrier Air Conditioning Company (CCAC), a Philippines-based subsidiary of Carrier Global and one of the country’s leading HVAC brands. There, she led the strategic marketing function across the Philippines, contributing to the brand’s positioning as a trusted market leader in air conditioning solutions.

Between 2021 and 2024, she was Partner, Chief Commercial Officer, and Senior Management Consultant at KahnDo Solutions, a human resources consulting company focused on building the workforce of the future and offering fractional HR, strategy, and people development programs for organizations ranging from startups to large-scale multinationals across the Philippines.

As an executive coach, Pam is formally trained under the International Coaching Federation and holds the ICF-ACTP designation, one of the most rigorous coaching credentials available globally. She is also a certified Action Learning Coach under the World Institute of Action Learning (WIAL), a certified Strengths Finder Coach through Gallup Clifton Strengths, and a certified Level 1 Points of You Explorer.

Her coaching practice spans Executive Coaching, Life Coaching, Leadership Development, Marketing Strategy, Diversity and Inclusion, and Corporate Training. Pam brings more than 25 years of corporate marketing leadership across the full spectrum of consumer industries, including retail luxury (Rustan’s), FMCG (Gillette, Kodak), nutrition (Mead Johnson), alcoholic beverages (Diageo), consumer healthcare (GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi), biotech-agriculture (Monsanto) and consumer electronics and durables (Philips Lighting-Signify, Carrier Philippines). From February 2020 to October 2021, she was Marketing Director at Diageo Philippines, the global beverages leader behind brands such as Johnnie Walker and Guinness, where she directed the brand management and earned media portfolio for the Philippines.

Between 2017 and 2020, she was Country Manager for Marketing and ASEAN Lead for Consumer Channel Marketing at Philips Lighting (now Signify), overseeing marketing and channel strategy for the Philippines and the broader ASEAN region. At Monsanto Philippines, she served between 2014 and 2017, first as Country Marketing Lead for the Philippines from October 2014 to July 2016, and then as Cluster Marketing Lead for the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia from August 2016 to August 2017, where she oversaw the launch of the DEKALB 6999S hybrid corn and drove farmer-engagement programs across three markets. Prior to Monsanto, she served as Head of Commercial and Shopper Marketing and Activations for Consumer Healthcare at GlaxoSmithKline between April 2013 and September 2014.

Her earlier career includes progressively senior roles at Mead Johnson Nutrition, where she served as Marketing Manager for HCP (Healthcare Practitioner) Communications from May 2007 to February 2009 and Marketing Manager for Business Development, Portfolio Planning, and Innovation from March 2009 to April 2010. She was a Senior Product Manager at Sanofi from April 2005 to April 2007. At Eastman Kodak Company, she held five successive roles over more than five years from 2000 to 2005, including Product Marketing Manager for Professional Imaging Business in the Philippines, ASEAN Product Manager for Film, Camera, and Battery, ASEAN Category and Trade Marketing Manager, Regional Sales and Distributor Manager for Greater Manila Area, and Digital Business Unit Manager for the Philippines.

Pam earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, with a major in Behavioral Studies, from the University of the Philippines in 1995, graduating cum laude and receiving the UP Presidential Pin for Academic Excellence. As an undergraduate, she founded the UP Manila Debate Circle, cofounded the UP Manila Chorale, and served as Student Council Vice Chairman and Behavioral Studies Society Vice Chairman.

She earned her Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business of De La Salle University in 2004. She holds an International Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, earned between 2015 and 2016, and completed studies in Strategy and Project Management at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business between 2005 and 2008. She completed Executive Education in Leadership and Negotiations at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in 2007. She was also enrolled in the CEO Program on General Management and Organizational Leadership at AIM, running from March 2025 to November 2025, and focused on future-proofing organizations and leaders.
