Markus Schmidt, Ph.D. is

Organization for International Dialogue and Conflict
Management, Vienna, Austria.
His research interests include risk assessment, the science-society
interface, and technology assessment (TA) of novel bio-, nano-, and
converging technologies, with a special focus on synthetic biology.
