Grant Blaisdell is the CEO and Cofounder of Copernic Space, the first digital platform for commercializing and financing real-world space assets and ventures, and President of the Lady Rocket Foundation with over 15 years of experience in blockchain technology, space commercialization, and digital media entrepreneurship.
He is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully merged advanced technologies with real-world impact across multiple industries, from fintech compliance to space economics to entertainment. As CEO of Copernic Space since 2020, Grant leads the development of economic infrastructure for the space economy, transforming it into an accessible asset class and liquid market through blockchain and tokenization. Before founding Copernic Space, Grant cofounded Coinfirm in 2016, a leading machine learning platform for blockchain analytics and anti-money laundering, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer for nearly five years. As founding CMO, he built the company from scratch into an 8-figure global leader trusted by financial institutions, governments, and major crypto protocols. Grant is a partner and shareholder in Big Idea, the company behind Clout Festival, one of Europe’s fastest-growing youth culture brands that has attracted over 70,000 attendees and featured more than 100 international hip-hop artists including A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, and Playboi Carti. In 2022, Warner Music Poland acquired a minority stake in Big Idea, recognizing its role in bringing major US hip-hop artists to Polish audiences and fostering the growth of homegrown talent.
As CTO of Strategy and Blockchain at Big Idea, Grant cocreated TIXY, a blockchain-based ticketing platform designed to combat fraud and reshape the secondary ticket market, addressing a $30 billion industry problem.
His life mission for space stems from a three-generation family legacy. His mother, Eva Blaisdell—known as Lady Rocket—is his cofounder at Copernic Space and a successful U.S. and international entrepreneur who previously led Fortune 10 companies including serving as President of Compaq Computers Poland from 1993 to 1998.
His grandfather, Tadeusz Gajewski, built the original Polish space program that made Poland the fourth nation to send an astronaut into space, with his works published by NASA and his early vision to democratize access to space inspiring the foundation of Copernic Space. As President of the Lady Rocket Foundation, Grant advances global space education, public engagement, and STEM initiatives that broaden access to the future of exploration. Born in California to parents from the computer industry who met in Silicon Valley, Grant launched his first startup at age 19 in 2007, focused on mobile video distribution and monetization on touchscreen phones before the iPhone was released. His early ventures in Los Angeles centered on digital media platforms, leading him to blockchain technology in 2013 as a solution for transparent and trusted monetization systems for creators.
