Stephen W. Parcell, N.D.
Stephen W. Parcell, N.D. is a licensed naturopathic physician,
providing
alternatives to drugs and surgery. He earned his degree from Bastyr University in 2002. Bastyr is regarded as the top Naturopathic
Medical
School consistently turning out graduates with the highest board exam
scores. He completed his premedical studies at the University of Vermont
in 1997.
He authored

response modifiers in the treatment of immune dysfunction,

Steve has done additional training at the
American Academy for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM), the

Naturopathic Physicians (CANP).
He has a strong background in medical research and is an expert
in “evidence-based natural medicine” as well as traditional naturopathic
medicine. He has worked at the
American Institute for Biosocial
and Medical Research as a consultant for the nutritional supplement
industry and has coauthored National Institutes of Health (NIH) research
grant proposals for Bastyr University. He has published articles in
Alternative Medicine Review and
The International Journal of
Integrative
Medicine, and
Integrated Medicine, a Clinician’s Journal. He is
currently
working on a chapter for the new edition of the
Textbook of Natural
Medicine.
Steve completed a two-year internship in family medicine at
Frontier Medical Institute under the supervision of Terry Grossman,
M.D.
and was a peer expert reader of
Fantastic Voyage : Live Long Enough to Live
Forever, authored by
Ray Kurzweil and
Terry
Grossman.
