Nikhil R. Pal,
Ph.D., FIETE, FNASc., FNAE, FNA, FIFSA, FIEEE is INAE Chair Professor,
Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit (ECSU),
Indian Statistical Institute.
He is the Vice-President for Publications of the IEEE Computational
Intelligence Society (CIS) (2013–2016) and the 2017 President-Elect of CIS.
His research interests include pattern recognition, medical and
satellite image analysis, fuzzy sets theory, neural networks,
evolutionary computation, bioinformatics, and brain science.
