from McGill University in 1976.
Michael is a volunteer and committee member for various professional and

Nova Scotia Nature Trust and The Halifax Shambhala Centre. He is a past
financial columnist for the Chronicle Herald and for the Southender
Magazine. He holds a black belt in Aikido, and is a long-term
meditation student and instructor.
