Leif A.
DeVaney, Ph.D. just earned his Ph.D. in the
Conservation Biology
Program
with
a minor in Philosophy at the University of Minnesota.
Leif presented
The Future of Wildland Fire at WorldFuture
2013.
He is interested in all dimensions of biological conservation, but his
current foci include environmental ethics, clarifying the distinguishing
conceptual aspects of our discipline, and the use of social science
research methods for investigating attitudes toward conservation issues.
Leif has earned a Master of Science in Conservation Biology.
In his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling, cross-country skiing,
and other outdoor activities.
