Larry A. Bender

Larry A. Bender is currently an Operator for the Port Authority of thirteen years, which includes pedestrian transportation responsibilities with attention to a time table and safe concerns for the riders welfare.
 
Previously he was an Area Administrator responsible for six hospital locations in the Mansfield, Ohio region. While working for Fresenius Medical Care / North America his responsibilities included supervision / direction of personnel, analysis of statistical data, HR, recruitment, training, staffing issues, ICD-9 and CPT coding, and negotiating legal contracts.
 
Lar also worked as a health-care nurse at UPMC / Dialysis Clinics Inc, while attending the University of Pittsburgh to earn a Bachelor degree in Public Administration. He was chosen by his peers to aid and assist the administrator in making their dialysis unit a more viable center for the hospital. Training facilitator, business streamlining, special program projects, and cost containment were some of the issues he addressed at that time.
