Arvidsson, MM is
a Strategic Foresight Practitioner & Futurist, supporting creative
leadership & innovation.
Karen is Environmental Advisory Committee Member at Knox City Council;
Research & Projects at Strategic Foresight & Innovation Design; and
President 2008–12, Committee 2007 at Swinburne Aust Graduate
School of Entrepreneurs Alumni Association.
Karen’s skills lie in revealing complex or hidden data, identifying and
defining potential “futures” and innovative pathways for individuals,
organizations, and businesses. This is done through use of strategic
foresight methods and tools, and leveraging from experience in projects
with the commercial, government, and not-for-profit
sectors.
Her background is in HR & Learning design, ideas development, and
initiating projects. She now offers stakeholder-based facilitation,
collaborative planning facilitation, environmental scanning services and
data gathering/analysis, scenario design plus development of
communication, and leadership.
Karen couples foresight and creativity/innovation tools with
psychological
awareness, and in some instances, specifically chosen psychometric
assessments, identifying risk and creating iterative and responsive
processes to move towards “preferred” future states. Her goal is to
sustainably facilitate systematic innovation and address complex issues
in a way that clients are able to understand and refine over time.
Karen earned her
Grad. Cert. in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at
Swinburne University of Technology, Australia in 2007.
She earned her Master of Management in Strategic Foresight
at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia in 2012.
