Íféányí Òkéké is a System Designer and Full-Stack .NET Engineer who serves as the Founder of RALEX (Radical Life Extension Coin), a blockchain-based longevity project, with over 3 years of experience in blockchain technology and software development. He is committed to advancing radical life extension through cutting-edge technologies, combining his expertise in computer science with philosophical approaches to aging and longevity research.
Íféányí founded RALEX in 2022, developing it as a cryptocurrency project specifically focused on funding and supporting radical life extension research and technologies. The project, known as Radical Life Extension Coin, represents his vision of leveraging blockchain technology to accelerate longevity research and create sustainable funding mechanisms for anti-aging interventions.
Through RALEX, he aims to build a decentralized ecosystem that connects researchers, investors, and advocates in the longevity space while promoting transparency and community governance in funding allocation..
In November 2024, Íféányí was featured as a Guest Speaker at the International Longevity Summit Africa, organized by TAFFD’s (Transdisciplinary Agora For Future Discussions). TAFFD’s is a global nongovernmental organization registered in the USA that serves as a futuristic think tank, dedicated to education and engagement urgency to help people understand the benefits and challenges of technology applied to high-impact industries. His participation in this summit reflects his growing influence in the African longevity and biotechnology ecosystem, where he advocates for the integration of blockchain technology with life extension research.
As a software engineer and system designer, Íféányí specializes in full-stack .NET development, with expertise in C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework Core, and blockchain technologies. His technical skills span front-end design, database management, and distributed systems architecture. He has been actively involved in Nigeria’s tech entrepreneurship ecosystem, participating in the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme in 2022, where he received comprehensive training in business management, pitch deck creation, and networking strategies.
Íféányí earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Imo State University in 2021, where he developed his foundational understanding of metaphysics and philosophical approaches to human existence. He simultaneously pursued his B.Phil in Metaphysics from Pontifical Urban University Rome and his B.Phil in Philosophy of Arts and Aesthetics from the Claretian Institute of Philosophy, both completed in 2021. This unique multidisciplinary educational background combining philosophy with technology has shaped his approach to addressing aging as both a technical and existential challenge.
Since September 2019, Íféányí has served as a Media Member at TAFFD’s, contributing to their mission of fostering innovation through transdisciplinary collaboration. His involvement with this organization has positioned him at the intersection of African innovation and global longevity research initiatives.
In 2021, Íféányí published HINTS OF SURVIVAL: Living Outstandingly on Amazon, addressing key social issues in contemporary society including leadership, personal development, and strategies for exceptional living. The book reflects his philosophical approach to human potential and serves as a guide for individuals seeking to maximize their life impact. He has also contributed to TAFFD’s publications and served as Secretary of the Student Union Government during his time at Imo State University, demonstrating early leadership capabilities.
Íféányí’s entrepreneurial journey reflects the challenges faced by tech founders in Nigeria’s developing ecosystem. In his own words, he acknowledges the difficulties of building startups in an environment with infrastructure challenges, limited funding opportunities, and social pressures. Despite these obstacles, he remains committed to his vision of creating Silicon Valley-caliber innovation in Africa, particularly in the emerging field of longevity biotechnology.
Through his various certifications and continuous learning initiatives, including his Diploma in Computer Science from I.J Computer Institute and participation as a Guest Speaker at the Claretian International Student Conference in 2018, Íféányí has built a diverse skill set spanning blockchain development, philosophy of science, and entrepreneurship. He has been endorsed by peers for his expertise in Entity Framework Core and blockchain technology, establishing himself as a thought leader in Nigeria’s blockchain community.
Currently based in Abuja, Nigeria, Íféányí continues to develop RALEX while advocating for the integration of longevity research with African healthcare systems.
