Dr. Fabienne Goux-Baudiment
Fabienne
Goux-Baudiment, Ph.D. is director at proGective.
She is also Adjunct Professor of Foresight, Entrepreneurship &
Intangible Capital at ISTIA (University of Angers, France) and Fellow at
the World Futures Studies Federation. She is on the Editorial Boards of Futures, Foresight, and JFS.
proGective was born in August 1994 from the will to create an
intellectually and financially independent organization, entirely
devoted to prospective and foresight. It is now, at the same time, a
research center, a tool for technological and social watch and an
organization devoted to the implementation of foresight and
prospective in a concrete and operational way.
proGective is a private company based on the French
legislation (SARL), which guarantees its financial independence and its
ability to answer the market demand; yet it acts as a nonprofit
organization.
Fabienne is former President of the WFSF (2005–2009). She also served as
the
Vice-President of the Center for Transcultural Foresight, Inc.,
Washington DC, whose publication FUTUREtakes is an independent
educational resource (2010–2012).
She is a member of both the Association of Professional Futurists and
the World Future Society.
Fabienne earned her
Master’s in Public Policy and International Affairs at
Institut d’Etudes politiques de Strasbourg, France in 1983 and her
Ph.D. in Foresight in Social Sciences at the
Gregorian University of Rome in 2001.
