Brad Twynham
Brad Twynham is a Professional Speaker, Thought Leader, and Consultant at Brad Twynham Consulting based in Sydney, Australia. Brad is also part of the Faculty at the Singularity University for which he held a talk at the COVID-19 Virtual Summit in March 2020, on How can AI be leveraged for future pandemics?
Brad’s coaching and consulting practice are based on 25 years of experience as an innovator, entrepreneur, executive adviser, and enterprise technology consultant.
In 2015, on returning to Australia after several years living in Los Angeles he founded Brad Twynham Consulting. Within his practice, Brad consults large corporations as the Entrepreneur in Residence to their Senior Executive Teams.
He led major organizational transformation projects across some of the world’s largest corporations in the areas of IT Operating Model Transformation, Hybrid Cloud Strategy, Service Oriented Architecture, and Enterprise Application Integration. Among others, he consulted and mentored for Muru D, The Hatchery, FactorC, Australian Finance Direct, Savvi Australia, Neuromersive, and Servicemesh Australia, where he was a Director and VP for Global Emerging Markets between 2009 and 2013.
While he was at Servicemesh, he provided Executive Advisory Services on Hybrid Cloud Strategy for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Swisscom, and UBS.
Brad also developed strategies for corporate innovation centers and incubator projects in both private enterprises and for community-based projects. He is the Regional Incubator Facilitator for the Department of Industry, Innovation, and Science In Terrigal NSW, Australia.
Brad has been the Non-Executive Director of the Private Health Network at Hunter New England Central Coast, bringing expertise to the Board in Innovation, Product Development, Crisis Management, Business Strategy, and Technology since 2017. As well, he has been the Chairman of The Board at Central Coast Montessori Primary School since 2016 and resides on several advisory boards of International Startups, all using exponential technologies to solve big problems.
Previously, in 2017 and until 2018, Brad was the Chair Of The Board of Directors at Conscious Capitalism Australia, an organization committed to bringing a Community of Business Leaders together, focused on the intentional change in Capitalism from a Market of Mass Consumerism to a Market of Conscious Global Citizenship.
In 2002, Brad cofounded ANATAS. He helped drive the company with an innovative approach from being an ERP consulting firm to becoming the pre-eminent boutique consulting firm in Australia for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). This included co-contributing to the development of an SOA Implementation Methodology. Their customers included Singtel Optus, Transurban, Yarra Valley Water, Tower Life, Prudential, NAB, ANZ, CBA, Energex, Telstra, Lion Nathan, and others.
Prior to ANATAS, Brad was the Business Development Manager at Axway and at BEA Systems between 1995 and 2000.
Bradley earned his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Human Movement Studies at UTS in 1993. In 2017, he earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Social Innovation at the Central Queensland University. This program focuses on the differences between corporate and social innovation and innovating for impact over innovating for profit.
Now living on the Central Coast of NSW, he can be seen regularly kitesurfing on one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and spending time raising three future leaders.
