Bill
Barbour, MSc is Occupational Safety and Health Professional and
Program Manager
with the Federal Government (GS-13) and Lieutenant Colonel,
Civilian
Safety, Aviation and Program Manager with the US Air Force Reserve.
Bill is a dynamic and experienced leader, manager, and team builder with
a proven
track record in a range of fields including safety, logistics, strategic
planning, aviation, and training. He is an award winning safety
professional
responsible for transforming several organizations of diverse functions
and sizes from relatively small to over 3,000 individuals.
He is an Air Force officer, instructor pilot, and veteran with 10 point
federal preference. He has organizational and management skills
involved with Transportation Commands strategic operational logistics
needs as well as safety, training, scheduling and flight instructor
positions.
His specialties include: safety, program management, training and team
building, readiness, and
logistics. He has a strong work ethic combined with communication and
genuine people skills.
Bill earned his Bachelors in Political Science and Psychology at
University of Colorado at Boulder in 1983.
He earned his Masters in Aeronautical Science and Management at
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2011.
