Anastasiya K. Giarletta, M.A. is CEO and Cofounder at Aikora Health, Principal at R42 Group, and Teaching Assistant at the Stanford University School of Medicine, based in Silicon Valley and London.
At Aikora Health, their focus is on longevity tech with the potential to transform healthcare and human aging. By providing information relating to biotech, health tech, genomics, regenerative medicine, and the increasingly important longevity space, they are helping founders of biotech and longevity companies network with investors. As an expert in the early stage longevity ecosystem, Anastasiya connects and advises venture funds, angels, and entrepreneurs, aligning them with success and growth.
As the Principal at R42 Group, Anastasiya evaluates companies in longevity science and artificial intelligence. She also manages the R42 Institute, which mentors the next generation of founders in longevity and AI, working directly with the Founder and President.
She was chosen by Forbes as Female VC to Watch 2021 and she regularly speaks at Conferences, Webinars, and Forums. She has presented at Silicon Valley Forum 2020 Unstoppable: The Future of Biotech & Digital Health Investing, Giant Health 2021, Old World meets New World: a new perspective on Cryptocurrencies, Family Office/UHNWI/Investor Impact/Technology Spring Conference, and the Foreverlabs Panel Biotech Investing in Longevity.
Since January 2021, Anastasiya has been Teaching Assistant at the Stanford University School of Medicine, lecturing on Longevity Venture Capital, Healthcare Venture Capital, and Aging: Science and Technology for Longevity.
She has been advising, mentoring, and investing in Startups from the longevity ecosystem. Among others, she has invested in C2Sense, Mitrix.bio, Stamp Free Limited, Tertill, CelerisTx, Turn Biotechnologies, HexagonFab, Reservoir Neuroscience, ConcR, PanTher Therapeutics, VividQ, Genomelink, CRISP-HR Therapeutics, Superbio, and SENISCA.
Previously, between 2018 and 2019, Anastasiya was Venture Partner in FinTech at Founders Capital, an Early-Stage fintech-focused investment firm and she worked on Strategy in fintech at Sweetbridge, both based in London, UK.
She kicked off her career as an Analyst internship on Supply Chain at Mars in Kiyev, Ukraine in 2011. She continued as an Analyst in Renewable Energy at BNR Energia in London and for two years between 2014 and 2016, as a Financial Services Associate at Amrop.
For a year, she was an Associate on Fintech at Anthemis Group, and after, in 2017 and 2018, she became Head of the UK Global Startup Bootcamp on RetailTech between London, Paris, Hong Kong, and UAE.
Anastasiya earned her Master’s degree of Arts in Sustainable Development from St. Andrews University in 2013. She is a mentor at the Tiger Launch Competitions and Longevity Hackathon.
Along with her professional endeavors, Anastasiya also volunteers for Bernardo’s, helping children realize their dreams since 2006. Previously, she was mentoring for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Girlguiding UK, and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
