She is a leading anti-aging and regenerative physician specializing in sexual health optimization, skin rejuvenation, and hormone replacement therapy, pioneering what she calls the “Queen Phase” approach to women’s midlife health.

Amy is internationally recognized for pioneering the Full Body Stem Cell Makeover® with colleague Dr. Harry Adelson at Docere Clinics, one of the most innovative regenerative procedures currently available. In her portion of the procedure, Amy combines stem cell injections with light, sound and other energy-based therapies to give patients regenerative effects for skin, hair, and sexual systems. As a headline in The Times London said about her, “Can’t get no satisfaction? This woman can help (She’s a doctor)”.

Amy earned her MD from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2003, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Arizona from 2003 to 2006, serving as Chief Resident. She earned her Bachelor of Science in BioMedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1998, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Her career transformation came after seven years as an emergency physician at Capitol Emergency Associates in Austin, Texas from 2006 to 2013. As an ER doctor with three young children at home (including twins), and a husband working out of state, she found herself sleeping 3–4 hours a night, eating garbage, drinking 100+ ounces of Diet Coke and energy drinks daily, and perpetually stressed out. This personal health crisis led her to transition into integrative and regenerative medicine.
Amy is a frequent media guest and content creator, appearing on podcasts including Everyday Wellness with Cynthia Thurlow, The Longevity & Lifestyle Podcast, and Get Yourself Optimized. She is currently working on her first book and publishes regularly on Instagram, aiming to improve access to advanced women’s health modalities by educating midlife women and their doctors in a playful, easily accessible way. She publishes a Substack newsletter focused on hormones and women’s longevity. Watch The Truth About Hormone Replacement with Dr. Amy Killen.
She coauthored the book 30 Days to a Better Brain with Evan DeMarco, published in 2018. She is a member of the Age Management Medicine Group and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
Amy was a special guest at the Health Optimisation Summit London in September 2022. Amy lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her family of five.
