Ümit Alkuş, M.Sc.
M.Sc. is a self-funded PhD Candidate at the Physics Department of the
Middle East Technical University (METU).
Ümit was previously Assistant Research Scientist at the National University of Singapore, Research Assistant at Ankara University Physics Engineering Department, Invited Speaker at 1st Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing Days, Research Assistant at Atilim University, Video Lecturer at Atilim University Physics Group, Researcher at Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Project Assistant at TUBITAK, Research Assistant at Bilkent University, and Lecture Translator at International Theoretical and Applied Physics.
His papers include Transformations of Entangled Mixed States of Two Qubits, Optimal Ensemble that Represents the Density Matrix of the Subsystem of a Quantum System in a W-type Entangled State, Optical Response of J-Aggregate Shells Coating Metal Nanorods, and Concurrence of a Bipartite Entangled State.
Ümit earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physics at Middle East Technical University in 2010. He earned his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physics and Quantum Teleportation at Bilkent University and Middle East Technical University in 2013. He is currently completing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics and Quantum Information Processing at Middle East Technical University.
