Denis Odinokov, MSc, PMP
Denis Odinokov, MSc, PMP is a Genomics and Bioinformatics oriented project manager and the Director of Biomedical Projects at SingularityNET. Previously he was a Project Manager at Hanson Robotics in Hong Kong.
Denis earned his Master’s Degree of Science in Biomedical and Medical Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2018. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine and Bachelor’s Degree of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from Novosibirsk State Medical University (NSMU), Russia in 2002.
Denis obtained the title Project Management Professional (PMP) in June 2019, from Project Management Institute, and is currently pursuing his second Master’s Degree in Genetics and Bioinformatics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with graduation expected in 2020.
While in Hong Kong, he got introduced to Hanson Robotics, and in June 2015, he began to work there as Project Manager.
In 2017, Denis published his research paper Aging of lymphoid organs: Can photobiomodulation reverse age‐associated thymic involution via stimulation of extrapineal melatonin synthesis and bone marrow stem cells?
After becoming the Director of Biomedical Projects at SingularityNET, he wrote for their blog a short article entitled The Impact of Extracellular Matrix Proteins Cross-linking on the Aging Process. He explains that the biological understanding presented in this article will help guide their work, which involves applying OpenCog AI tools to analyze genomic data regarding super-centenarians.
