Shelly Brenckman

Shelly Brenckman is Vice President of Communications at Aggie Angel Network (AAN), a 501(c)(3) corporation that provides quality early-stage investment opportunities for accredited investors. AAN also assists early-stage high-growth potential startups.
 
Shelly previously owned a communications firm in College Station from 1986 to 1996. She published an internationally-distributed 4-color magazine as the first and only exclusive licensed publication of Texas A&M University. She was responsible for content, editing, design, layout, marketing, subscription, advertising, newsstand, and revenues. She received 10 ADDY/IABC Awards. She also published commemorative periodicals for Corps of Cadets/A&M Student Activities, etc. 20th Century Fox acquired the license to A&M Magazine in 1998.
 
From 2003 to 2010, she raised $1.45M in private/corporate donations for various Montgomery County high school golf teams and UIL programs; also for athletic facilities — playgrounds, baseball park lighting & tennis complex. She raised $70K for Willis HS/Montgomery HS/Conroe HS/The Woodlands HS student-athlete scholarships. She raised $2400 for WISD in 2011 for stadium/state rings and was WISD superintendent’s appointee to the 2007 bond committee. She helped pass a $39.9 million facility bond. She managed a networking platform for educators/parents, and then hit 3,800 members in 30 days which resulted in local education/civic reforms. In 2011, she raised $27,000+ for Mays Business School & A&M programs.
 
Shelly’s specialties include nonprofit / political fundraising, media campaigns, speech writing; book editing, publication design, policy-making, POA governance, CCRs authorship, special events planning, business research, trouble shooting, guerrilla marketing, commando consulting, identity branding, licensing, compliance, grants, grass roots activism, and change leadership.
