Sarah Bull
Sarah
Bull is a Ph.D. student studying Statistical Machine Learning at
NICTA (National ICT Australia Ltd) and is a member of the
Organizing Committee and of the Program Committee for
AGI-12 @ Oxford.
At NICTA, Sarah works with the Automated Data Analysis team developing
technology that will help users and support developers by automatically
analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing large collections of complex
data.
She won the 2010 Australia & New Zealand Google Anita Borg
Scholarship from a pool of over 70 entries. The Google-sponsored
scholarship aims to encourage women to excel in computing and
technology, to become role models and leaders. Scholarships are awarded
based on the strength of each candidate’s academic background and
demonstrated leadership.
Sarah graduated with a Bachelors with Honors majoring in
Artificial intelligence (AI), Information Technology, Intellectual
Property, and Law from Australian National University in 2010.
