Richard M. Pfohl, MBA, D.S.L. is President at Navigos and Founder and Visionary at The Global Institute for Leadership Development.
Rick has over nineteen years experience consulting with Fortune 100 and Global 250 organizations and training and coaching leaders in those organizations. He has experience in automotive, education, financial, government, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, and utilities organizations. In addition, he has written over thirty articles on leadership and is currently working on a book related to his area of expertise and a concept he developed termed “Anticipatory Leadership”. His continued interest in advancing leadership has led him to begin a column on leadership, to develop a leadership television program and a leadership radio program, and to help networking communities form leadership summits.
Rick is a global visionary executive with an applied doctorate in Strategic Leadership (D.S.L.), a major in Strategic Foresight, and an emphasis in Global IT Strategy. He is an anticipatory thought leader recognized for applying strategic intelligence to global technological solutions achieving organizational transformations utilizing a global mindset.
He has comprehensive expertise in progressive technologies within multiple industry settings. He has advanced risk assessment dexterity in navigating competing agendas and value-stream mapping establishing a sustainable competitive advantage.
Rick has demonstrated leadership in mentoring cohesive cross-functional teams in transnational environments maximizing engagement and productivity. He is a foresighted knowledge leader uniquely skilled at driving organizational fluidity by assessing, aligning, and applying global forces intentionally toward a preferred future.
Rick earned his Master’s Certificate in Information Technology Project Management at George Washington University in 2003. He earned his MBA (summa cum laude) in Business Admin at Liberty University in 2005. He earned his Doctor of Strategic Leadership [D.S.L.] in Leadership, Strategic Planning, Strategic Thinking, Strategic Foresight, and Organizational Development at Regent University in 2009.
