is CMO at KnCMiner.
Based in the tech hub that is Stockholm, Sweden, KnCMiner produces state-of-the-art chip design and cloud services for block chain-based applications and cryptocurrency mining. As a journalist, Nanok has 20+ years of experience from daily news media such as Dagens Nyheter (morning paper in Sweden), Metro International, and SVT (Swedish National Television).
He’s also an online veteran and has been emailing since 1992. He wrote his first web page in 1994. Claim to fame: he was one of the world’s first bloggers in 1995 and he founded Sweden’s (and probably the world’s) first blog community in 1996. (Reload.org, now inactive.)
Nanok pioneered near-live web reporting for mainstream media (at DN.se, from the music festival Hultsfred in 1996). Since then he’s also introduced the world’s first mobile streaming music service in 2004, and he was appointed the world’s first “Internet Correspondent” (for Metro International in 2006) among other things.
He has also gathered experience from starting IT companies, developing mobile media portals for 3, mobile apps for R.fm, and for others.
Nanok has created a number of web projects and has been involved in creating several TV formats for the web as well as for Swedish national television and TV8, and he’s been nominated for the TV award “Kristallen”. He managed to reach more than 12% of the Swedish population with a prime time television series.
He’s also published a book explaining technology for a younger generation, in collaboration with the Swedish Technology Museum (and started other book projects).
