Jonathan is a copyright and plagiarism consultant and works with
individuals and
companies to help them protect their content on the Web, by being
proactive with protecting and licensing their work, detecting incidents
of infringement and stopping them early. He teaches a form of plagiarism
self-defense to make people able to handle their own issues, rather than
relying on him.
He also works with Web hosts to help them create effective copyright
policies including DMCA compliance. He also works as a DMCA agent for
companies that do not have the need for a full-time agent on staff.
Jonathan works with new companies that are designing
content
protection solutions to help them build better and more effective
products. He helps them work on promotion, features, and ideas to make
the most of their creations.
He is also the author of
Raven’s Rants: The First Five Years.
Jonathan earned his BA (with honors) in Journalism and Mass
Communication at the University of South Carolina in 2002.
