Overview
We support efforts to preserve the knowledge accumulated by humanity, such as the programs by the Alliance to Rescue Civilization (ARC) and The Long Now Foundation.ARC, which was cofounded by Lifeboat Foundation Scientific Advisory Board Member William E. Burrows, seeks to move comprehensive data about Earth to a human-tended base off the planet to salvage civilization in the event of a near- or long-term catastrophe.
