Dr. Michael A. Smith

Michael A. Smith, Ph.D. is Cofounder of the Center for Applied Rationality.
 
Michael has extensive experience with teaching and curriculum design, both in and out of academia.
 
He earned his AA in General Studies at South Puget Sound Community College in 2000 and earned his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics at Saint Martin’s College in 2003. He earned his MS in Mathematics from the University of Oregon in 2006 and his Ph.D. in Mathematics & Science Education from the University of California at San Diego in 2010.
