Dr. Jovan David Rebolledo-Mendez

Jovan David Rebolledo-Mendez, Ph.D. is Postdoc Associate at the University of Louisville, USA.
 
Jovan’s objective is to create, optimize, and provide quality, innovative research in computer science, specifically in applied AI and machine learning; also, to develop IT knowledge and solutions, contributing to the fast-paced development of technology and the global society, anticipating future opportunities.
 
He coauthored Application of a Feature Selection Method to Nucleosome Data: Accuracy Improvement and Comparison with Other Methods, Proposal of an innovative interface for a tangible communication between PCs and visually impaired people by using air propelled new technique of wind elements (wixel), Finding Hidden Relationship among Biological Concepts in Gene Ontology, Characterization and Clustering of GO Terms by Feature Importance Vectors Obtained from Microarray Data, and Ranking and selection of features for improved prediction of nucleosome occupancy and modification.
 
Jovan earned his BE in Computer Information for Management, Software Methodologies at Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico in 1998. He earned his MOT in Engineering, Management and his M.S. in Engineering and Computer Science, Information Systems at Kanazawa University, Japan in 2006. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering and Computer Science at Kanazawa University in 2009. He also graduated from Singularity University in 2009.
 
He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Japanese.
