He is also the author of four novels and a short satire: Dreams Must Die, The United States of Air: a Satire, The Second Bat Guano War, Death on Taurus, and Food-Free at Last: How I Learned to Eat Air.
Jens earned his B.A. in Philosophy and ancient Greek from Northwestern University, and ever since has been heavily influenced by ancient thought.
