MacArthur $100 Million Grant

The MacArthur Foundation, the one that awards genius grants, has a new initiative. Every three years they intend to award a $100,000,000 grant to either a not-for-profit or a profit-making organization to fund a single proposal that promises "real and measurable progress in solving a critical problem of our time", and that promises "a feasible, meaningful, and long-lasting solution."
We invite members to propose projects to be implemented through Lifeboat. We also invite members to apply for project committees.
We will need to scramble to assemble teams by two deadlines. Registrations with MacArthur are due September 2 by 11 am Central time. Applications are due October 3 by 11 am Central time. DO NOT REGISTER A LIFEBOAT PROPOSAL WITH MACARTHUR UNTIL MEETING OUR CRITERIA AND RECEIVING AN OFFICIAL OKAY.
Send proposals to [email protected] with the subject "MacArthur Proposal".
