Javier Ramírez Sabau, MBA is a Spanish Entrepreneur, Investor, and Business Executive. He is the CEO of Clínica Neleva, one of Europe’s leading longevity medicine clinics, the Founder and Managing Director of Longevity Ecosystem, and the Founder and Partner of Singularity Spain, the Spanish chapter of Singularity University.
With over 25 years of experience spanning financial services, insurance, genomics, real estate investment, and longevity medicine, Javier has established himself as a key figure in the European healthspan and longevity space, bridging exponential technologies with precision medicine to help individuals extend their healthy lifespan.
As CEO of Clínica Neleva, Javier leads one of the largest and most advanced longevity clinics in Spain, located at Calle Claudio Coello in Madrid’s prestigious Salamanca district. The clinic, which evolved from the pioneering practice of Dr. Ángel Durántez, was expanded through investment from Longevity Ecosystem and inaugurated its new 700-square-meter facility in early 2025.
Clínica Neleva combines scientific innovation, medical excellence, and precision medicine to create individualized treatments targeting healthspan optimization. The clinic employs a multimodal diagnostic approach, including biomarkers, advanced imaging, genetic analysis, and liquid biopsy, and has served over 1,500 clients with more than 18,000 diagnostic tests in the field of longevity.
In December 2025, Javier represented Clínica Neleva at the 3rd Roundtable of Longevity Clinics at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, alongside leaders such as Dean Ornish, Michael Roizen of the Cleveland Clinic, and Andrea Maier of CHI Longevity. As Founder and Managing Director of Longevity Ecosystem since 2023, Javier leads an investment vehicle focused on extending both healthspan and lifespan through a combination of scientific advancements and cutting-edge technology.
Longevity Ecosystem strategically invests in products and services within the longevity field, including its investment in Clínica Neleva. Since April 2024, Javier has been the Founder and Partner of Singularity Spain, bringing the Singularity University mission to Spain. Through the annual Singularity Summit Spain, held in Madrid, global experts in exponential technologies share insights on the future of innovation across AI, biotechnology, robotics, digital health, and longevity.
The 2024 edition, held at the Fundación Pablo VI with Esade as Academic Partner, attracted over 700 professionals and featured keynote addresses by Peter Diamandis and other global thought leaders on generative AI, human longevity, and the future of work. Since April 2020, Javier has been an Investor and Director at BioGen Center, a Madrid-based genetics laboratory with over 20 years of experience specializing in cytogenetics, molecular cytogenetics, and molecular biology. Between April 2020 and September 2023, he also served as CEO and Investor, leading the company’s expansion plan to become a market reference in high-quality human genetic diagnosis.
In 2017, Javier cofounded ASP Investment Trust, where he serves as Cofounder and Director. ASP Investment focuses on the development of residential real estate projects in urban areas of northwestern Spain, developing or restoring residential buildings to deliver housing solutions accommodated to local market needs. Between August 2017 and February 2021, Javier served as an Independent Board Member at AIG Latin America Investments, providing governance oversight for the company’s regional investment activities.
Prior to his current ventures, Javier built an extensive career in financial services. He spent nearly 13 years at AIG Mortgage Insurance, progressing from Business Development Manager for Spain from 2004 to 2007, to General Manager from December 2010 to October 2015, and ultimately to Country Manager for Spain and Portugal from June 2007 to January 2017. In this role, he oversaw overall operations across the Iberian Peninsula, leading multidisciplinary teams and executing strategies to navigate the post-2009 European financial crisis.
Before AIG, Javier spent over seven years at Banesto, one of Spain’s major banking institutions, where he held positions in marketing and business development from 1997 to 2004, heading the distribution of risk insurance products across the bank’s channels. Between July 2017 and February 2020, he also served as General Manager at Green Mowers, where he led the company’s integration with Grupo Industrial Crimidesa.
Javier completed the DIBEX program in Digital Transformation at ISDI in 2020. He earned his MBA in Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2001. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1995.
Javier is based in Madrid, Spain. He is an active participant in international longevity and technology communities and attended the 2024 FIRST Global (IFCA) Challenge in Athens, demonstrating his commitment to innovation and education beyond the longevity space.
