If our only response to a surveillance state is to observe \u201cfrom the bottom\u201d (as, for example, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Steve_Mann\">Steve Mann<\/a> would have it), and if that response is made illegal, it seems that the next set of possible steps forward could include more entrenched recording of all personal interaction.<\/p>\n<p>Already we have a cyborg model for this \u2014 \u201ceyeborgs\u201d Rob Spence and Neil Harbisson.
