These findings could pave the way to a new treatment for combating demyelinating conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS). The findings were published in <a href=\"https:\/\/dx.doi.org\/10.1002\/glia.23715\">Glia<\/a>. <i> <\/i>\u201cI think we\u2019ll know in about a year if this is the exact right drug to try in human clinical trials,\u201d explained senior study author Larry Sherman, Ph.D., in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/emb_releases\/2019-09\/ohs-ncp082719.php\">recent press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it\u2019s not, we know from the mouse studies that this approach can work.
