However, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/d41586-019-02638-w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study published in Nature journal<\/a>, researchers found that participants had lost an average of 2.5 years on their \u201cepigenetic clock,\u201d measured by analyzing marks on a person\u2019s genomes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d expected to see slowing down of the clock, but not a reversal,\u201d UCLA researcher Steve Horvath told Nature. \u201cThat felt kind of futuristic.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While trying to regenerate the thymus gland, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) researchers might have found a solution to not only slowing down the ageing problem but actually reversing it, a new study claims.
