Berens, PhD, from the Translational Genomics Research Institute in Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-019-11732-6\">The findings<\/a>, published Aug. 22 in <em>Nature Communications<\/em>, focus on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare, incurable cancer that affects the brainstem in children under age 10.
