Five years later, practical experiments proved him right.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing the pictures appear on the computer screen was the best day at work I\u2019ve ever had,\u201d says Simen \u00c5dn\u00f8y Ellingsen, an associate professor at NTNU\u2019s Department of Energy and Process Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>That was the day that Ph.D. candidate Benjamin Keeler Smeltzer and master\u2019s student Eirik \u00c6s\u00f8y had shown in the lab that Ellingsen was right and sent him the photos from the experiment.
